Liebe Tingatinga-Freunde,
vom 31. Mai bis 3. Juni gibt es erneut die Chance, frische Tingatinga-Bilder zu erblicken. Dieses Mal werden sie im Rahmen der FOCUS-Zwischennutzung in der Schlosserei an der Rheingasse 33 in Basel gezeigt. Die Ausstellung wird organisiert von der Helvetas Regionalgruppe Basel, die auch eine zusätzliche Aktion zur Ausstellung plant. Im Anschluss an die Zwischennutzung findet – parallel zur Messe ART Basel – die Kunstplattform FOCUS12. Contemporary Art Africa statt.

Dear friends of Tingatinga,
from may 31 to June 3 you’ll have the chance to view some fresh Tingatinga paintings. This time they are going to be shown in the context of the temporary FOCUS-offspace named after its facility, a former locksmith’s shop: Schlosserei (at Rheingasse 33) in Basel. The exhibition is organised by the Helvetas regional group Basel, who is also planning an additional event during the exhibition. After the temporary use of the facilities for diverse cultural activities – parallel to the ART Basel fair – the art platform FOCUS12. Contemporary Art Africa will take place.
